After completing the Beginner Combat Manual Quest. Zauvudd asks you to kill the Junk Beast in the Plane of Innovation and return his power source.
In the Plane of Innovation, the Junk Beast can be found (when he's up) to the left of the zone in, past the factory entrance. He is usually trackable from the zone in point also. He is level 60 and require at least two full groups to kill. Reportedly he hits for up to 975 and double attacks. He also has a nasty AoE blind spell. He also drops a very good haste belt that is often sought after.
Return to Zauvudd and hand him your Beginner Combat Manual and the Junk Beast Power Source for your Intermediate Combat Manual.
