This is the sixth in the series of quests used to obtain the legendary, and pretty good, Greenmist.
When you receive your Crusader's Khukri, Lord Qyzar gives you this part of the quest.
Lord Qyzar says `Congratulations! You are now a true crusader, but there is no time for celebration. We have lost two of our operatives. Crusaders Golin and Fodcod were dispatched to seek out an ancient artifact, the [visceral dagger]. Where they have gone, I do not know. They have been gone far too long. Find them and return the dagger to me with your crusader khukri and you shall be a hero.'
You say, 'What about the visceral dagger?'
Lord Qyzar says 'The visceral dagger was an ancient torturing weapon. I do not know much of it other than that it was forged by a member of the Brood of Kotiz, but that was ages ago. He is surely dust by now.'
The Visceral Dagger can be obtained by combining a sharp metal shard, a jagged metal shard, a dagger hilt, and Dalnir's Forging Hammer in the Forge of Dalnir. I'm not sure if you need a flask of water or not... I would take one just in case.
The pieces can be found in the Crypt of Dalnir on the Second and Third levels. One will drop on the Second level near where you drop down from a Kly Imprecator. One will drop on the bottom level in the church area from a Kly Imprecator. One will drop from a Kly Imprecator near the Kly Overseer. And the hammer will drop in the room with three Iksar Statues on the bottom floor. Combining the pieces in the Dalnir Forge (which will never fail) yields the Visceral Dagger.
Upon giving the Dagger and your Crusader's Khukri to Lord Qyzar, you will receive the Hero's Khukri:
